Vinyl or Nitrile Gloves

These choices of disposable rubber gloves are widely recommended as the best for use as both materials. Vinyl or Nitrile Gloves will not interfere with or inhibit the cure of urethanes, silicones, Epoxies, Polyesters, Latex or other materials.

At Neill’s Materials we stock Nitrile gloves as have found these are the most flexible, fitting and tactile for use in comparison with Vinyl.

Latex Gloves

We recommend avoiding the use of Latex gloves when using these types of materials. The risk of contamination and inhibition is significant. In particular when working with Platinum/Addition cure Silicones it is important not to wear Latex gloves. Sulphur residue can inhibit the cure of the Silicone.
