Silicone moulds can be used to cast a variety of materials including polyurethane, polyester and epoxy resins, plaster and more. One of the primary advantages of using silicone mould rubbers instead of other flexible materials (polyurethane rubber), is that a release agent is not needed when casting polyurethanes other materials into silicone moulds.
