SikaBiresin F160 is an unfilled fast cast polyurethane resin used for negatives, moulds, masters and mock-ups using the unfilled product. It can also be filled with RZ 30150 mineral filler in order to avoid an exothermic reaction for easy machining. SikaBiresin F160 is also used for thermo-forming masters using the product filled with RZ 209/6 aluminium powder in order to increase thermal conductivity.
This filled system is more rigid than the F180 allowing it to retain its shape even in thin section. It stays fluid long enough to make filling even small cavities easy. This resin is also much easier to paint than many other fast cast resins.

Unfilled Fast Cast Resins
The unfilled fast cast resins are usually used for making detailed models and mouldings with thin walls due to their excellent flowability. They can, however, be cast in thicker layers by adding filling materials to them.
